GeniusBot is the web crawler operated by Genius Search. It discovers and indexes pages so users can find them in search results.

Identification

Canonical name	`GeniusBot`
User-Agent	`GeniusBot/1.0 (+https://adgeniuspro.ath.cx/geniusbot; contact: admin@adgenius.pro)`
Origin network	Requests exit through the Genius Search infrastructure. To verify a request, check that the User-Agent string contains `GeniusBot/1.0` and that the source IP resolves back to a hostname controlled by us.

Crawl behavior

Fully respects robots.txt (including Crawl-delay).
Per-domain politeness: 30–100 ms between requests to the same host.
Skips binary assets (PDFs, archives, media files, fonts).
Does not execute JavaScript (HTML-only fetch).
Follows up to max_depth=3 from a discovered sitemap entry.
